THe recommended solution from PERGO is 1 cup white vinegar to a gallon of water, using a damp cotton cloth mop. You can also use 1/3 cup of white vinegar to a gallon of water, this information is on www.pwego.com on maintenance info.
Here is another suggestion
If you are looking to get the SHINE back follow the directions on REJUVINATE (you can buy it at Home Depot) and then keep it up every 3 months as directed. The trick is: every time it gets wet, dry it immediately. To clean it, whatever cleaner you choose, go with the grain wipe it up directly after wetting it with either cleaner or water solutions whichever you prefer. Making sure to DRY it with a dry cloth, not a damp towel for the entire floor, (eventually it will be too wet to use)is key to keeping it streak free while and after cleaning

thanks but it is some type of wax that had put on the floor its the wax that people used in the 1800's its some type of a toung wax it's with wide plank pine thanks Lori
the wax is some type of toung wax the the early americans used on the pine planks and the people told me that water will hurt the wax so im trying to find out just how to clean it with no water
SInce you are not sure of the kind of wax that was used and if the flors are not real dirty I would just use a floor duster to only to be safe.,
