Is it possible to put a coat of polyurethene or something on to the top of my laminate flooring?

I want a shinier floor and I am not happy with the looks of having this splotchy floor. I have tried everything to mop it with and it never looks good. I bought a good dupont real touch flooring. What can I do to make it shiney and not show every foot print?

Making sure to DRY it with a dry cloth, not a damp towel for the entire floor, (eventually it will be too wet to use)is key to keeping it streak free while and after cleani
