Bvflooring
Hello,

Couple of easy questions:

What type of flooring is most popular?

Laminate, real wood, parquet?

What type of installation is usually used...glued or nailed?

And what type of glue would you recommend?

Thanks! Barb

the last few years the most popular has been laminate floating floor systems.

A laminate floor is floated and either licked together or glued to each other ... never nailed.

Always use manufacturer recommended adhesives.

The best in my experience is engineered hardwood flooring.

It has better structural integrity, it will expand and contract at a lower and slower rate than solid hardwoods, and can be refinished a limited amount of times in the future, although less times than solid hardwoood, but more than laminates because laminates can not be refinished at all.
