I just had my counter tops tiled and grouted. Unfortunatly, the grout they used to way too light. I did a little research and found that there is a product used to dye grout. I went to a local handyman shop, and they told me they didn't carry anything like that but wood stain would work just the same???? Thought I would put it out there???????

You want a grout colorant.

I have no idea what a handyman store is.

But Home DEport shows on line that my local store has it. But they only have one color.

But any tile place will have it.

TileShop is one national chain. If you have one in your area they have it.

AS wood stain would probably STAIN it, but the color might not be anyhting like what you are looking for, it might not last long, it might be "food" for mildew or mold.
