Cutting glass mosaic tiles

Has anyone ever cut 3/4 inch glass mosaic tiles...the kind that come attached to a mesh sheet? What should I use? Can an electric wet saw with a diamond blade be used? A framed diamond pattern over the stove requires me to cut the tiles that border the frame in half.

A wet saw would be the preferred method. It may be less difficult to remove them from the mesh and cut one at a time. Try butting one side into a jig and press the other side with your fingers. There is no easy way with 3/4" glass that I know of.

I just thought of something. Bizazza Glass has a training facility down in Florida where they teach proper installation. Try googling them and see if they allow access to a tech rep who could give you some ideas. Some day I'm going to get down there and take the course.
