Is there a chemical or can i sand the glaze off ceramic tile, then apply a sealer? To achieve a terracotta colored tile?

Ther is no long lasting paint for tiled floors. Some have used epoxy paints but it usually looks like a tile floor that was painted and nothing more.

If the old tile are in good shape with NO cracked tile or loose grout you can set new tile over the old using a modified thinset after you thoroughly clean the old tile of any and all oils, soaps, dirt, etc.
