I have a wooden fence around my backyard, and the door to it is drooping, and dragging on the ground when I open or close it. is there any fix to this rather than to rebuild the door? I was thinking one of those screen door supports, to install diagonally across the door from one corner to another. Would that work? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Chances are a diagonal support will work. If the wooden gate was built with nails, I suggest you replace them with screws - after squaring the gate and adding the diagonal support.

The latest Family Handyman magazine touched on this subject. They suggested adding a "turnbuckle" on a diagonal.

Good luck. -Steve
