I need to buy an area rug or runner for use by my front entrance to trap dirt, water, etc. so it does not get tracked into the house. It has to be be low-profile in order to clear an opening door. My hardwood flooring dealer told me to completely avoid rubber backed products because of the possible damage it could. I've seen lots of water-trapping low profile areas rug or runners on the market that would be perfect, but they all have rubber backing. Any suggestions??? Thanks!!!
