I tried a diy and botched the grout job. The tumbled travertine was not sealed before it was grouted. How do I remove the excess grout from the tile without scratching it and without using harsh acidic chemicals?

- Help! Grout is dried on travertine tile backsplash!
get a spray bottle filled with water and a big sponge with a WHITE (has to be WHITE)scrunge on one side. Spray a 2' area of the grout a few time and try to soak the grout on the tile as much as possible. After 5 minutes of soaking try rubbing the scrunge over the tile surface with a mild bit of pressure and go in a circular motion. If the grout still wont loosen up, get a razor blade scraper and use that holding it as flat to the tile as possible to loosen up the chunks, then go back to the scrunge
