Is it possible to use 7/16 O.S.B. on a roof pitched 10/12 with engineered trusses 24 inch on center in the Northeast with snow loads? Or, would 1/2 plywood be better?
I appreciate any comments.

Not a framing expert here, but working on all kinds of roof decks, the plywood always feels more substantial to me, and it definitely holds nails better.
But of course what you need to do is find out what's allowed per your local building code.
That will dictate what you can or can't do.
