Could anyone suggest to me where I can find good quality tile that is not very expensive. I would like to stay until $1 a square foot if possible. I have been looking at Home Depot and Lowes and can find some in that price range but the colors are too light for the area I need tiled. I was told by an installer that I should try to find discontinued or surplus tile companies and that I could probably get a good deal. I had originally planned to install laminate but the installer advised against it for reasons I am noting on other posts in this forum. My project entails putting some type of ceramic floor tiles in a condo that is 800/SF. Please advise where I can go to get good tile at no more than $1 per square foot. Thanks.
