I recently completed by basement flooring with Dri-Core subfloor and install a 8mm laminate above that. Now, I have to transition from this new floor to the concrete in my laundry room (about 1 1/2" drop). This doorway sees a lot of traffic, but I can't seem to find anything that will work for this transition. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

- Transition From Laminate to Concrete
I'm assuming the issue is the support of a t mold? A relatively quick idea is to support a t mod with some ripped pieces cut to size and a piece of laminate to cover the exposed edge on the laundry room size. Attaching a picture of my awesome drawing of this since it demands a visual aid ;) It's sideways though.
Or are you more concerned about tripping? If so, the only real solution that I can think of is to create a ramp. I'd probably create a fan shaped ramp with concrete if I went that route, just to keep it from having any edge to drop off of.
