Bvflooring
I was having a mouse problem and found 2 seperate sections in 2 seperate closets to have holes where the mice were coming in and out. I am under remodel so I do not have the trim on the wall in these areas. Also my entire house is White Oak Hardwood flooring which I refinished about 2 years ago. I bought some of the big gap foam sealer to seal the mouse holes up. Well that worked but when the foam expanded it expanded onto my hardwood floor. I removed the foam from the flooring but it has left spots on the floor that I cannot get up. It is basically adhesive residue left over from the big gap sealer foam. Is there anything I can try to get this stuff off my floor without sanding and refinishing? Thanks in advance and any help will be appreciated.

Your best bet would be to call the maker of the foam sealer. They should be able to give you info on how to remove it without causing further damage. Sometimes stuff like that will melt with a little heat like a hair dryer but I would try with an inconspicuous area first.
