How bad was the winter storm where you live? How did you prepare? Did things come to a standstill or was your town ready? Would you say this has been the worst winter ever? Let us know what's going on in your neck of the woods.

We had a lot of ice, very little snow. While the trees were dipping under the weight, we didn't have any casualties in the neighborhood. We did, however, have 6 mailboxes meet their demise thanks to a snow plow.

I think last winter was worse than this one. We had a lot of ice and snow storms last winter, where we've only had a couple of bad ones this winter.

The most dangerous thing I've found is trying to drive behind people who don't clean off the six inches of snow before they leave their house. I'm from California originally but even I know to remove the snow from more than the windshield.

I've guess I've learned to deal with it throughout the years. We had about a good foot of snow over night. I think the weather people make too much hype about it and scares alot of people. I remember when we were young you didn't know anything about it until you got up and looked outside in the morning. I don't know times have really changed.
P.S. Thank goodness for snowblowers and 4 wheel drive!
