Hello. We're thinking or having someone refinish our bathtub. I know it involves strong chemicals. Due to that, does it mean this can only be done when the bath window can be open? Or can they do this procedure while its winter? We live in New England. Thank you! Betty

My parents had their bathtub refinished during the winter. They just shut the bathroom door and opened the windows. They also had the bathroom ventilation fans running to help clear the air. It should be fine as long as you have some sort of ventilation, but as LarryG said, be careful if you have pets or children. They are much more sensitive to the chemicals than we are!
