The quality of your glue joint preparation is THE most important factor. If you are not skillfull with a hand plane and do not posess a jointer machine, locate articles on adapting your router as an edge jointing machine. No fastener, glue, or device will ever be a substitute for a well crafted joint. All other thing being equal, you can expect a succesful outcome, and good luck. Hank Metz
