I want to build a 90-100 foot decorative fence between my driveway and my neighbor. A simple fence consistiing of eight to ten four-foot brick columns about 4 feet high with two 4X4 rails running the length of each column. I'm asking you because I have not found any info on any other web site. The questions are, how to make a base for the brick columns so they are stable, and how to set the 4X4 rails into the columns. The top rail would be set a few inches below the top of each column.
