Thanks!!!!! I will let you know how it looks, I got some different polishing compounds to try. The guy at the auto body shop way very encouraging he said just to go light and easy so as not to wear off the enamel or heat it up too much. I am looking forward to trying it as soon as I get the chance. Oh and the person I got the polishing compounds from said that a buffing wheel for a drill might work even better than a random orbit buffer since it didn't turn at as fast an RPM, and so might not burn the surface so easily. I agreed since I was wondering how I'd get the big orbital buffer into the deep part of the basin. I hope it works GREAT!!!!
