I'm in the process of having hardwood floors installed in a foyer, hallway, living room, and kitchen. You enter the kitchen through the living room, and we're considering having the kitchen planks run perpendicular to the living room to give more definition between the rooms. Good or bad idea? What should we consider in making this decision?
