I have already put drywall on my basement ceiling. Thinking it might be easier than taping/sanding, I am now considering plastering the ceiling with a "stucco look" (NOT actual stucco, just the 'swirling' look). Is this possible, Or will it eventually flake off since the ceiling is NOT blueboard?
