we just puchased a home 1984.....and we were told to pour bituthane 14 inches in the ground on the South side of the house...we live in Alaska and when it snows it snows.
The inspector said that the side of the house is chafing and peeling therefore we should use bituthane. That side of the house gets the most sun when we get our short-summer-weather.
Also...what is the cost of bithuthane?
My question is can we dig a ditch ourselves 14 inches and pour bituthane in it and call it a day? Or is there something else we should do?
