My house is cedar with the board on the house installed horizontally. The bottom piece of wood on a window (the wood on the frame not the wood surrounding the glass) and the 2 cedar boards under the window are rotten. How can I fix these? Does the entire window unit/frame need to be replaced? I wish I could send you a picture or draw it for you b/c I am ignorant in carpenter terminology. Please help me if you can.
