I also have had to have my machine serviced twice in the last year. The door lock failed that meant that the spin cycle would not work on my machine. When being serviced the repairman noticed the mold on my machine and had ordered a new door seal which Maytag replaced. At the same time they replaced the circuit board on top of my machine. Over the weekend my washing machine would keep shutting off every minute and would not spin. Again another repair call-a new motor control board was replaced today. I have asked the company to pay for this board but they currently are saying that my machine is out of warranty. I personally do not care - I believe they have definate design flaws and believe Maytag should stand behind their products. This may very well be my last Maytag product also.
Hope someone at Maytag wakes us soon and recalls these machines.
