Shear strength of deck mate screws

Can I use deck mate screws for a roof on my screen enclosure. I wanted to use treated 2" X 4"'s to span 84", 16" on center with cross braces every 24". If I can use deck mate plus evercote screws can I get a copy of their physical characteristics for my building inspector.
