I will be painting formica countertops but have decided that the RL river rock is too pricey and not user-friendly... I seem to remember an additive to make paint look like stucco. Could there be one to make it look sandy, like limestone or granite-ish? Or is this a waste of time, since it seems to call for quite a few coats of polyurethane on top? thanx for the help.
