at this stage, you might want to consider having a new floor installed soon, but in the interium, you can find a vinyl retail store and purchase some good glue for this project and then begin to clean out the dogeared area very well, use a box knife, Q tips and what ever to remove all the debris. Then with a hair dryer lightly direct the warm air over the ear to make it more pliable so it will lay down flat. Apply the glue and use a heavy object to hold down the ear until it has thoroughly dried. This may work for you but will be a band aid repair approach.
