Removal of Melted Candy from Dress

As I was driving home from Trader Joe's one day, I was eating some of their Gummi Chewy Candy and accidentally dropped one on the car seat without knowing it. The car sat in the sun and when I got in the car, I sat down on this melted gummi candy and now it's on the back of one of my dresses and not to mention, the car seat. When I got to my brother's house, he tried to remove it from the car seat with a knife, with Goo Gone, also tried freezing it, with no success.
How do I remove this mess?
