sort of, and more or less. My scoochie bit moves with the length of the run and assuming that it's one piece of molding that I'm using to fill a space. If I'm trying to fill a short space--4 feet or so--I'll try to cut to a short scoochie bit. (Must be a metric one. LOL) If I have a 12 foot space, I'll overcut by a longer scoochie bit. I'll cut longer for pine moldings than for oak ones.
OK so how much do I overcut for each situation--by a scoochie bit.
