we have stippled ceiling in living/dining room. there is a water stain approx four inches wide by approx three feet long in living room. I tried to correct this by adding a ceiling primer to the affected area hoping that it will blend in, but this is not the case.....can this be corrected by cutting out the affected area and having section restippled by feathering it......your advice is appreciated.
