Just examined a Lennox G12RQ3E which has an ignition control module which lights and confirms a pilot before openning the main gas valve. This can be identified by the ignition coil wire, slightly smaller in diameter than those found in a car leading from the pilot orfice back to the module . This unit is probably failing due to temperature variations after the first heat cycle as it is located above the burner box. Suggest you check your flue situation and verify that you have a clean blue burn with no heat comming out the front.
