I just purchased a home on a lake that has a three tiered railroad tie retaining wall with walk ways next to each tier. Some of the ties have rotted and shifted. Cash is a bit tight right now so I am hoping to just repair and stablize the wall for now. Next summer I intend to replace the walls with a decorative brick. I have no idea where to start. Any instructions on how to repair/stablize would be helpful and of course I am always open to suggestion and ideas for someone on a limited budget.
