Superglue does not stick to oily/greasy surfaces well. It doesn't stick as well to smooth surfaces as it does to very slightly rough surfaces. My feeling is that a single edged razor blade held in something like a Widget holder or a hobby knife and some gentle scraping at a very low angle is the best way to remove it. Chemicals may attack the work surface.
