basement slab..is this mold?

Our home is 7 yrs old and we live on Long Island, NY Northshore area. We have a humidifier down in the basement but I have been noticing a black cloudy appearance on the concrete in certain areas. Is there anyway to make sure this isn't mold. We are finalizing refinishing plans.
