Thanks for this advice. I have refinished wood floors before, so believe me I appreciate how hard this tile removal task will be. That's why I'm veering between finishing it myself and calling in the cavalry! By the way, how would the sander be used? Are you suggesting that one would literally sand/grind down all the remaining tile that I'm having trouble removing? Is this what a professional would do to remove those stubborn tiles? I was thinking maybe a professional would score the tiles, then apply a solvent to loosen the adhesive.
