I don't have a welder yet, and i have just moved over to canada from england wher it was 240v every where. in england you can plug a 240v welder in easily (and there cheaper- starting at $100 for a basic arc welder) but over here where do you plug a 240v welder in, perhaps an oven or dryer outlet, or where the powerer box is in the basement.i also have a variety of english tools (240v)can i do the same with them
