There is a terrible odor in my son's room. I have completely cleaned the room, used a strong carpet deodorizer and there is still a terrible odor. My son is a cross country runner. I wonder if the source is nasty shoes and damp running shorts that have caused mold or mildew in the carpet. The carpet looks fine but I have not pulled it up yet to look underneath. Any help would be appreciated.
