Do I have to take up the old original floor of vinyl or whatever it is ( probably house built in the mid to late 50's would be my guess or the early 60's ) or can I just put a hardwood or even ceramic floor over them? If not, who do I get to look to see if it is asbetos in the greater Kansas City area- area code 66203? Can you recommend anyone?
