Since site factors are so important to the cost, I recommend you simply call septic and well contractors and get some hard estimates. If you have questions about what they tell you or recommend, feel free to ask here. You should also ask your local building department what requirements must be met for your lot. You will be required to obtain permits for this construction. Be aware that properties adjacent to lakes may have unique and stringent requirements, and a number of places impose construction bans where soils or sewage treatment are not feasible.
