reglazing bathtub and tiles

I have 70's style bathtub and tile in the bethroom.I want to update but dont have the money now to redo completly.Im getting a new sink and new toilet.Im thinking of definetly reglazing the tub from green to white and now thinking of reglazing the tile to white.I got a company recomended witha 7 year guarentee.Is this safe?is this worth it?i heard you cant put shampoo bottles on the tub or there are certain cleaning rules.what do you think?
