Well in a way they are apples and oranges... the bruce floor is a much thicker floor that must be aclimiteted to the room in which it is being installed in. The kahrs is prepackaged kiln dried so as to minamize and control the amount of moisture until installed its thickness is much closer to that of pergo or other laminate flooring while thier linnea line is a true wood veineer.In my opninion the bruce would last alot longer and could be refinished but the kahrs is much easier to install is less likly to have shrinkage problems and is much more affordable.
