My perc tests indicate that I will need an above ground system. The engineer said I will need 12" of good soil. The engineer suggested we go with a different piece of property- but we've already invested a lot of time and money into this project & we already incorporated the cost of an above ground system into our budget. I think the engineer feels that we don't have the extra $$ to spend on the mound system(I played like we didn't have a lot of money to throw around when getting his estimate). Question- is it possible for the board of health to deny us a permit for an above ground too? I didn't think so, but I would like to know what you all think. Thanks.
