Steve........if it is cracked or peeling - scrape what will come off.

Primer with an oil based primer - finish with a top quality 100% Acrylic latex paint

Glidden Evermore/Ultra-Hide/Dulux Ultra/Fortis are all great exterior products.

Find them at The Home Depot and/or ICI Paint Stores
