I am going to be tiling a shower area and a separate bathtub area. Apparently several types of drywall are available for hanging tiles, and I was wondering which is best in terms of the tile adhesive sticking to the wallboard. I realize that some are easier to work with, in terms of cutting, spackling, etc., also they are available in different sizes. Is there a web site where I can find a comparison? If not, is there an expert out there who could give me a comphrehensive account of the differences between these materials? When using wonderboard for mounting ceramic tiles, do you use the rough or smooth surface for the adhesive. Many thanks.
