Silestone countertop advice!! Posted by Suzanne on April 21st, 2003 03:25 PM
I am about to start a kitchen remodel and thought I went through my countertop options pretty well....started with laminate, then went to corian, moved onto granite and have settled on Silestone-Kalahari color. I thought this was the best option out of the choices available. Doesn't need to be sealed and it fairly heat/scratch/stain resistant. But I have read a few posts about people who have had it chip!?! Does it chip that easy? I don't want to get something that will chip, especially since I have two young children. Is granite a better option? Although I hate to think I would have to seal it every year:-(
Thanks for any and all help!
