Wall patching following blown in insulation

I'm considering getting insulation blown into my exterior walls of my 1955 ranch. Unfortunately, because of a finished basement, they are recommending drilling through the interior wallboard to blow in the insulation. My questions:

1. How easy/difficult would it be to patch these holes?

2. How noticeable would these patches be?
