Home Depot sold me a Stanley a few years ago and I've had varying trouble straight along. They told me it was superior to all other openers but I now believe they were dumping their inventory. Last week they tried to convince me to buy a different front door however, I didn't fall for their trick and bought the one I came in for. Yes, the opener is garbage and I should have stuck with Sears. I've had a Sears on my other garage for 22 years and never had a bit of trouble.
