...said that the drywall surface is not meant to be painted over (without seeing it though). He said it sounds like the surface was only ever intended to have acoustics over it and that if we prime and paint it, imperfections will show and it will never look good. I was in the process of scraping and smoothing the ceiling when I was told.
I don't know what to believe. The guy who stripped the acoustics for us said that it is a good ceiling and we can paint over it. I am hesitating. I don't want to mess it up anymore so I want to be sure I have correct info. I was aleady regretting removing the acoustics.
I REALLY appreciate any advice on this because I don't know what the best way to proceed is...
