I wonder if this advice would also be for a squeak when the drum is rolling. Mine is only 2 years old and it is a Kenmore. The washer is another story as it's leaked ever since I'd had it for six months. I've had to call out the repair man 3 times now. Both are still under warranty but doggone it, when you put out money on something that you think is very nice, you shouldn't have to keep calling someone to fix it. Same with Whirlpool...When we built a few years ago, we chose all Whirlpool appliances. They are all either not working or crippled. What a waste.
