I got a lot of popped nails this winter. One in a bathroom ceiling is particularly bad. I'm ignoring most of the opthers, but this one I've hammered back in and spackled twice. It eventually pops out again. My thought now is to put a screw a few inches away in the same piece of drywall and just remove the popping nail permanently. Is this a good idea?
