Copper would be my first choice.I replaced all my galvy pipe with copper.

CPVC is illegal where I am anyway.

With a little practice,sweating copper is not that bad and really not that expensive.

Might want to check your homeowners policy,an upgrade to copper might save you some $$$$Luck
